| January 09, 2001 | Yes, yes, I know that there hasn't been many updates to this site in the last couple of months. Unfortunately, real life strikes periodically and I'm forced to pay bills, which means that I've been freelancing for other people. Mostly, I've been working for GameSpy, a great group of people with an awesome website.
I've also had a couple of articles published in Computer Gaming World print magazine. I'm still doing some work for GameSpy periodically, most recently having done an interview with Richard Garriot, the first one since he left Origin early last year.
I'm going to start updating this site regularly again and adding more content as soon as possible. Lots to do and little time to do it, but I'm going to make it a priority. So please bear with me as we kick-start the motor and get the engines revving again. :) |
| July 21, 2000 | As you can see, we're back once again to bring you the best of the gaming world. :) Unfortunately, things didn't quite work out with our partnership with Crossroads Network, but now our destiny is in our own hands and we survive or fail on our own merits. And we shall not only survive but thrive! So bear with us as we get everything going once again. We have big plans for the future!

| May 08, 2000 | Well, things are starting to get hectic around here as we gear up for the biggest event of the year. My schedule is almost completely booked solid, with a few slots left open to wander the floor and see things I haven't booked time for. Seems we're not |337 enough for company party invites this year, so we're making some parties of our own. :) Myself and many of the gang from Crossroads will all be attending and will be bringing you daily updates from the convention, but seeing as how our time is pretty well taken up during the day, expect most of the updates at night after dinner.
Some of the things I'm looking forward to seeing are the closed door showings of NeverWinter Nights, Ultima Online 2, a strange sounding game from FunCom called No Escape, and Diablo 2. There's going to be a lot to see and I'm sure you'll hear me complaining quite a bit about my sore feet. ;) |
| May 01, 2000 | | As our regular readers may be aware, we recently entered into a partnership agreement with the Crossroads Gaming Network. Well, I am pleased to announce that Cracked Nuts has been acquired by Xroads (hey, everyone else is doing it, too) and I have been hired as Managing Editor for the main Xroads site. We will spend the month of May redesigning their main site and phasing everything over and hopefully have the acquisition completed by the beginning of June. We will continue to maintain this site until then, at which time you will be redirected to the new URL. Expect to see the same high quality content there that you have come to expect from us here. We're basically just moving locations. :) |
| April 27, 2000 | | My apologies for the lack of updates yesterday, and posting today will likely be sporadic. What started out as a mere cold seems to have turned into a nasty case of strep throat. Ugh, I'm miserable. Haven't had strep throat since I was a little kid. Anyway, please bear with me the next few days until the penicillan kicks in. Thanks! |
